Bursley Elementary

Students at Bursley benefitted from grants that were funded by the Foundation for all elementary buildings. JPEF was proud to provide additional non-fiction titles to each of the elementary libraries.

Sixth grade students are shown using “toys” that help them experience first-hand how energy works. This grant was written for all sixth grades in the district.

The foundation has partnered with Bursley over the years in the following ways: new science curriculum for 3rd- 6th graders, part of the annual author visit, microscopes, a literacy program called ‘Read Naturally’, a pond ecosystem, a Sister School project, and the district-wide Missoula Children’s Theatre--- all of these great projects for Bursley kids!
